- The set up and maintenance of a platform to exchange ideas and to discuss the contribution of universities to socio-economic development in Europe and thereby to contribute to the success of the European universities and the improvement of their position;
- To contribute to the improvement of the academic climate of European universities for research and education and the improvement of the attraction of universities to top-students and top researchers;
- to contribute to the improvement of the weak point points of universities in view of the improvement of their competitive position versus universities in the US and Asia;
- improvement of the free traffic of persons, goods and services between European universities by the development of joint education programmes and the mutual recognition of study points through the enhancement of mutual cooperation between universities and business and through an increase in mobility of staff and students
And to perform all the things necessary to accomplish matters related to the above or that are recommended for those matters.
